Les Modes Parisiennes Giveaway Print #3

This print is by far in the worse condition of the three.  There is tape on the backside, which in turn has caused acid staining on the front. But, to me, it is the best of the four as I love pieces to add to my art with REAL patina built right in. You just can't duplicate deterioration the way Mother Nature and Father Time do it.

REMEMBER TO LEAVE A COMMENT ON THE FIRST POST TO BE ENTERED TO WIN THE FOUR, ORIGINAL PRINTS!

Thank you to everyone who has been spreading the word about this giveaway! It's been super fun!

I'll post the fourth and final image tomorrow. Monday I'll draw and annouce the winner!

GOOD LUCK!

Les Modes Parisiennes, Illman & Sons Giveaway!!

Yay for giveaways! :)

French couture is always a good thing! This antique plate was offered in Peterson's Magazine.  It was one of many original handcolored lithographs supplied with the monthly Periodical in the mid 1800's. Each print was hand colored by the artist, as thus, each magazine had it's own, original work of art in it.

This is a high resolution scan, one of four that I have for you. I think, perhaps we are in need of a giveaway here on The Vintage Moth!!  Just leave a comment on this post and let me know what you might do with them to be entered to win FOUR ORIGINAL, HANDCOLORED prints! (I'm just curious.. perhaps you'll inspire a new idea for someone!)

I will ship these anywhere in the world and I'd love for you to spread the word about this giveaway! I'll post the winner on Monday the 19th of April.

Each day this weekend I'll post anther print, so you can see the entire prize.

Have a lovely weekend, don't forget to stop by and see the other prints!

xoxo~

You may, of course, print this out and use it in you art, crafts, etc. All I ask is that you please not sell it, (the poor person who pays for something that I have offered free) and don't add it to a CD for resale. Thank you! (unless of course you WIN it, then you may do whatever you wish with them!)

A large photo..

My server isn't allowing me to create smaller versions of the images today. Who knows why.. so here she is.. large and beautiful! When I manage to get things working properly again, I'll make her clickable. Myst commented that the image won't open all the way and she's right, for right now, just right click the image below (do not left click, it won't work) and select to save it to your computers at the size shown. Hope that works!  I did just test it and it worked for me. Sorry for the confusion. We will return to our regularly scheduled programing soon. :P

Problem fixed! Here is your image, left click on the image, then right click to save it to your computer.

Scatterings

These bits of ephemera were inside the front cover of the photo album.

Enjoy your images for today! Use 'em and abuse 'em!
