Antique Wedding ~ Marriage License and Certificate Images

 

I had posted the original of these two antique wedding forms a couple of years ago, and really wanted to revisit them. I think the graphics are divine and the cherubs are darling! The season of weddings and romance is here, hopefully these images will make a great addition to your wedding themed art, crafts and scrapbooks.

Antique Wedding Invitations and Announcements

I have had a lot of requests for these so I thought I would post them again. They didn't transfer from blogger in large format, and they weren't tagged 'wedding' so these images were a bit hard to find unless you knew they were there.

Another fun possible Valentines or Wedding image. The text is fabulous and I love the drape of the border.

Someone inquired as to how I shift the images from colored to straight black and white. I'm not sure how professionals do it, but this is how I do it.. :)

I use PhotoScape (a free online photoediting software) once I have my image selected, I increase the contrast, then convert it to black and white. (one of the small tools on the bottom right hand side of the screen, the button is a small gradiated square going from black to white). Then I increase the contrast again until the majority of the gray speckle is gone. Hope that helps! I have absolutely no idea how to do it in Photoshop.
