Free Antique Botanical Image & Exciting Changes!

As you can tell, there are a few changes beening made around here. :) I have passed the torch of my old blog, The Vintage Moth, to Sarah, a fabulously creative spirit, so I will be relinquishing the name 'The Vintage Moth' to her. Sarah will be offering up some new antique and vintage images for you, as well keeping the older images up so be sure to wander over to The Vintage Moth and subscribe if you haven't already. I am very excited to see what she has in store for us!

In the meantime, I will be posting here exclusively, thus giving me the time to keep offering you images regularly. 

A few changes in the works..

• Advertising! I am working on a system that will allow you to advertise for about $1 a day or monthly! You choose! This is exciting for me as it will allow those with small budgets the ability to spread the word about their blogs, sites, wares, etc.  It's a good thing coming!
• Widgets! I will be designing a new line of 'Link Widgets' for you to post on your sites, if you put up my new widget, I'll offer a text line link to your site on a special page here. Free advertising for you and a great way to connect with other creative souls!
• Image Sharing! If you have an antique/vintage image/scan you'd like to share, you can send it to me via email, and I'll post it here for everyone and include a link back to your site or blog.

Spring is glorious time of renewal and I am excited to get started on things here! Stop back by often as I get new images up for you and do a spring cleaning on the site! Yay for new beginnings!

Pssttt... have you heard???

As some of you might have noticed I haven't been adding new sites to my sidebar. I have had some people contact me and I appologize for not responding. I have been hard at work on a new site, my own web domain.. >insert loud, evil, crackly laugh here.. Bhawhaha!< :) anyways... it is almost up and running and will have multiple pages including The Vintage Moth. This blog location will continue to exist as it hold hundreds of great images for all of us. The new site will have all the old images and well as new posts going forward(once it's live, until then I'll be here). It has been ready for a while now but I have had some domain transfer issues. (the technicalities are frustrating to say the least..) You will be able to subscribe to the new blog feed etc.. if you are interested in advertising your crafty biz or site before we go online, (then you'd be at the top of totem pole so to speak) just drop me an email here. There is also an entire page of special links that have caught my eye and that I find are helpful for life and craft.
So that is where some of my time has been spent.. building a new site! Geesshh! It's hard work, even with a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) Host.
