The Old Glory Company is home to so many wonderful new-old/old-new things! You'll find dozens of 'e-patterns' (meaning no waiting for shipping!) and the crafty directions and images are emailed directly to you so you can start creating now. (I am an immediate gratification type lady).

Oh! These Witch Spell Bottles are just perfect for Halloween!! With the e-patterns being emailed to you within 24 hours you can have some brew made up just in time for the holiday of spooks!  With each pattern you get images! Fabulous images!! Something we all love or we wouldn't be here. you can check out Cassie's website anytime, just follow the links in this post or click on her widget on the sidebar.

The Programme

If you look closely, the essay on the second page is titled 'Black Spiders'. I thought that was fitting for the upcoming holiday of spook.

Harum-Scarum!

I scanned in some more dictionary pages for you.. the Halloween page spread is so much fun! Words like 'harum-scarum' and 'happy'. I also rescanned the letter, sans the ephemera. I thought perhaps you might like to use it as a background without my 'stuff' on top.

Enjoy!

Courtesy of the Fabulous C.L. Dodgeson, aka Lewis Carroll

An illustration from the 1864 manuscript of 'Alice's Adventures Under Ground' (the very first Alice book).

Agnes Grace Weld, taken 1857. I LOVE this photo.

Mary Millais, 1865.

I used these images in some art for Kathryn's Soul Journal Blog Party. A most fabulously, fun spooky time. Please come and visit my blog HERE to see how I interpreted them. Lewis Carroll was a fantastic dreamer and whimsy maker but I don't think I would have left him alone with my children.
