The Vintage Moth Group on Flickr

Awhile ago I started a Flickr group for visitors of The Moth to showcase their creations or as a way to share some vintage, antique images. We have over 100 members now! but... so few are sharing.. :( I KNOW that you must do something with all of these images! Wether you want to say 'hi' or not, I have counters in place that tell me over 1000 unique people visit daily, totally over 70,000 views a month! Not everyone speaks English, so I added Babelfish. (although it does some funky things to the screen when it does translate the pages.)
I absolutely love every comment that you leave! Thank you! :) They truly make me smile and feel that all of hard work is loved. It is so nice to know that there are others out there who are interested in the same things. But, perhaps like me, you sit on a lot of images too.. it is nice to know that they are there, on our PC's, waiting for creativity to strike.
I am still hoping that the the flickr group can be another way to connect. I think most artistic types are fairly solitary, as our craft tradionally dictates that. Atleast when we are working.
I hope you are creating, even if you aren't sharing! lol! It is nice to share, trust me, it feels great! Is there something you'd like to see on here on The Moth that I am not providing? Is it easy to use? Are the images high enough quality? do you prefer tutorials? just let know! I try to answer every question and respond to the comments and emails.
Oh, one more thing, I also just added The Vintage Moth to Technorati. You can select to share the posts that are here on Technorati, Digg, Facebook, Twitter, and many other sites by clicking on 'SHARE ARTICLE' just below each post. Again, thank you! thank you! :)
xoxo~
