Update, Low down, good things..

Ok, the news about my eyes. I have Early Onset Glaucoma. Fortunately it was found early so with the eye drops they prescribe, I shouldn't have anymore vision loss. Onto the good news, (yes, there is ALWAYS good news!) A side effect of the eye drops is that I should get long, lush eyelashes! Move over super model.. here comes Abbie! Wink! Wink! ;)  I have to do a super excited shout out to Amanda over at Kevin & Amanda. Bertolli is sending her, another famous blogger and one of her READERS to LA to meet Rocco DiSpirito!  Are you serious??? That is CRAZY WONDERFUL! Italian food is THE BEST and uh, Rocco is yummy too! :) There are so many people entering I don't have a chance in Heaven, but, hey.. things like this make me dream big and I love the possibility of it..

So, anyway.. I am dreaming big, trying to see clearly and enjoying Springtime!!

Wow! What a great response to yesterdays post! :) You guys put a huge smile on my face! Thank you! I'll definitely work on some tutorials for you.. it may take a few days to put together, but hopefully Friday I'll have the first one done. Here are some more PNG's for you since the others got a great response.. now, when appropriate, I'll create two formats of the free images I post.. jpg and png.

Playing with PNG files and wallpapers...

I have been making some PNG files for you! :) Quickly, for those who are unfamiliar, PNG files have a transparent background around the image. Meaning, that the border you see as white, isn't there when you insert the image into a digital project.

I know that Photoshop is the software of choice, but for those of you who can't afford it, or don't have the hours to learn how to use it, PhotoScape (FREE!) is a great alternative! (I haven't received any favors from PhotoScape for this...)  Using PNG images makes it even better for collaging images. If enough people comment on this post, I'll do a tutorial on how to use PhotoScape (I use it for 80% of the work that I do and have been using it for about 3 years) and how to create with PNG and JPG images.  It is really cool and has lots of potential for creating fun, dynamic collages.

Enough blahblah... here a few PNG images! :)

Here is a jumbled idea of what PNG images can do.. note that the frame is empty, and the box shadow is translucent to the subject below it... and the tag over the frame..

Do you need the JPG format too? I'm not sure what people out there are looking for.. I'd love to offer what you need, so speak up and I'll do what I can! 

Also, I have been playing with the idea of making wallpapers but there are so many screen sizes out there and creating a dozen different sizes just doesn't seem like fun. But a few I can handle..  :P I have done a trial image, if you try it let me know how it works. Again, if you want them I'll make more! (my screen is uber large so it's hard to gauge how it'll look on yours.)

Frames & Feathers Collage Sheets

I will be posting the winner later on today, I was just so excited about these new designs I had to share right away!

 

  

This was my four year olds idea and I just loved it! she was playing with some feathers from a feather boa and put them in the empty frame to make a bed for her baby.. I took a picture and played with the colors. Aren't they so fabulous!?

I know, they would have been perfect for Easter, but inspiration never strikes when you need it to. Also just as lovely for spring, summer, bright collages, Easter scrapbook pages, here they are for you! Two collage sheets, in PDF format for you to download.

Just click on either one of the above images then click 'DOWNLOAD' up in the left hand corner. Save them to your computer and print!
