Stop to smell the flowers... free vintage girl with lilies image

We are stopping to smell the flowers here.. school starts on the 29th for us and we'll be off and running with soccer, gymnastics, scouts, etc... All three of mine will be in school this year, two of them all day! It is bitter sweet though, I am looking forward to my new found time alone, but I think I'll miss them. Well, maybe after a few weeks. :) This week we are taking it easy, getting last minute shopping done and hopefully spending some time at the beach.

Hope you enjoying the last days of summer! It'll be the time of spooks and fabulous Halloween decorating before we know it! (I love Halloween!)

enjoy!

xoxo~

1900 Sweet Little Girls Ad for Hood's Sarsaparilla

Aren't these little ladies just beautiful? They are the 1900 Hoods Sarsaparilla advertisement card. On the back, (whick I can't get at because they are firmly adhered to the page from the antique scrapbook) is the annual calendar for the 1900. I bet that would be neat to see too! :)

I am having eye surgery tomorrow morning so I probably won't be back until Wednesday.

See you on Wednesday!

Vintage Sewing Card Advertisement ~ Children, Pony and Buggie

NOTE: I have removed the comments option. :( I love to hear from you all so much and it makes me so happy to know that others love all of the images that I post as much as I do, but I am getting very tired of removing spam ads from my comments. It makes me angry when others try to post free ads! Percy & Bloom has fantastic sponsors who offer relavent, wonderful products, and they pay to advertise here and I don't want the comments littered with annoying ads for knockoff, crap products. Sorry about my rant.  (if you are the person leaving the comments.. go away! You're bothering me!)

I do love hearing from all my visitors, so if you'd like, you can email me at damseldesigns@hotmail.com or you can contact me through the 'contact' button just below my header.

Continue on with your creativity! :)

I love the spool used a wagon for the children! So cute!

Enjoy!

xoxo~

Victorian Woman and Child PNG Image

PNG IMAGE:

I snagged that lovely lady from the antique advertisement below and created a PNG image of her for you... if you are unfamiliar with PNG format you can read more about them and their functions HERE.

Here is a sample for you of how you can use a PNG file in your arts and crafts:

Notice how she is on a completely different background. The antique dictionary text and pocket watch images were added with Photoshop's 'multiply layer' feature (it makes the white of an image transparent). I removed the background from between her arms as well, so the fit onto another background is seamless.

Please enjoy! For more free PNG images click the tag word below 'PNG'.

Sunny Hours Antique Woman and Child Victorian Clipart Image

Thank you for the comments! It is so nice to hear from those who visit. :) I have thousands who stop by, but few who take a moment to say thank you. It is very appreciated! If there are comments left that have links in them and appear to be ads.. they are. Unsolicited spam and I check daily and pull them down. Please don't click on them! But I'd love for you to take a moment to visit Percy & Bloom's sponsors.. they are the ones that keep me here and updating (and pay properly for the advertsing!)

PS.. Her dress is fabulous. FABULOUS!! I love it!!

xoxo~
