These lovely designs originally covered the name on the Victorian Calling Card. You had to lift the diecut, embossed image to reveal your visitors name below. So much more fancy than our boring business cards of today.

This should be a fabulous image to print large! The original is the largest Victorian diecut that I have found, almost 6 inches across... in fabulous condition! Please enjoy!

A lovely raven or crow (do you know which this is? I'd love to post properly..) anyways.. I have been told by a dear friend of mine that this is infact a crow. In her words,
"A crow. Raven's are in the same family but generally are the size of hawks and have pointed tails where crows have rounded tails. i love both species. Crow's are misunderstood by people and their high intelligence and connectedness to human...s overlooked. Studies have been shown that they can even pick out familiar faces in crowds of people."
He has quite the collection of shiny objects! Love the watch.. goes very well with these antique pocket watch images.
