Les Modes Parisiennes, Illman & Sons Giveaway!!
Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 8:03AM Yay for giveaways! :)
French couture is always a good thing! This antique plate was offered in Peterson's Magazine. It was one of many original handcolored lithographs supplied with the monthly Periodical in the mid 1800's. Each print was hand colored by the artist, as thus, each magazine had it's own, original work of art in it.
This is a high resolution scan, one of four that I have for you. I think, perhaps we are in need of a giveaway here on The Vintage Moth!! Just leave a comment on this post and let me know what you might do with them to be entered to win FOUR ORIGINAL, HANDCOLORED prints! (I'm just curious.. perhaps you'll inspire a new idea for someone!)
I will ship these anywhere in the world and I'd love for you to spread the word about this giveaway! I'll post the winner on Monday the 19th of April.
Each day this weekend I'll post anther print, so you can see the entire prize.
Have a lovely weekend, don't forget to stop by and see the other prints!
xoxo~

You may, of course, print this out and use it in you art, crafts, etc. All I ask is that you please not sell it, (the poor person who pays for something that I have offered free) and don't add it to a CD for resale. Thank you! (unless of course you WIN it, then you may do whatever you wish with them!)
