Hiding from the winter cold.
Friday, January 23, 2009 at 3:51PM Can you find me?
I am hiding from the winter cold, the frost's bite and the wind's fury. Tucked beneath leaves, where the moisture lies.
WorldLabel is my favorite source for labels at great prices!!

Sunday, December 21, 2008 at 3:14PM We had a foot of snow fall on Friday and into Saturday.
Now, we are having another 12" to 18" fall today. We are precariously balancing our sanity with the thankfulness that we still have power. 25 thousand in NH have been without it for over a week now.
I'm thinking that perhaps I'll BBQ. Burgers on the grill anyone?
As I type, the wind and snow is swirling around the house so quickly that I can't see the grill on the deck anymore. Maybe I'll skip the burgers tonight.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep. I went and hid there yesterday for a moment to get away from the two housebound, stir crazy, wild eyed monsters that were once my sweet little girls.
Hope everyone else is surviving!

Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 4:55PM I have added advertisements to The Vintage Moth in hopes to raise $$ for the American Cancer Society. We have raised over $40 at The Floozies and I am hoping that The Moth will generate more. The hit count is off the charts and there are tons of followers. All this time on the PC needs to benefit someone, right?

Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 1:49PM I gathered them together to talk. It has been so long since all of my lady bugs were in one spot.
They sat in the shade enjoying their protection from little hands that loved to squish them quite harshly.

Friday, November 21, 2008 at 1:15PM The next time you work on an art piece, scrapbook or greeting try looking at the other side of things.
My favorite button in my collection is the broken jet glass button shown above. It is so tiny and the broken side sparkles fiercely in the light.
Above is a close up of a vegetable ivory button, split open by time. You'd never know that under that dark exterior is a pale center! There are after all, at least two sides to every button.
