We went to the ocean...

We went to the ocean. That is my husband and son. Waaaaaaaay out there where the waves were breaking. Isn't the sparkle fabulous? We had the most gorgeous weather, it was so warm the ocean was almost tolerable. Almost.

Gorgeous picture! Love that sparkle. My family just spent a week on the Gulf Coast in Destin, Florida. We were blessed with a week of perfect weather, warm water and sugary white beaches. No oil. No tar balls. Just beautiful. The only thing that annoyed us was the seaweed--a small thing in the grand scheme of things. Hope your beach trip was as relaxing as ours was!

ohhh, that is a fabulous shot. Where did you go that it is that shallow for such length? I love the beach, and the kiddos so enjoy the water play. But we live so far from a quite spot we end up in the chlorine kind a lot. Here is to celebrating summer.

I'm on vacation next week and will be spending at least a few days at the ocean. I can't wait for the cold, salty water to wash away a little of the stress and baggage I'm carrying right now. I think the snap of the cold water helps to clear out the clutter and spark the spirit.
