I went for a drive...

I went for a drive today and it looked like this. Wet, cold and blllaaahhhh.. I was looking for color, and special things. I found canoes.  All lined up waiting patiently for the summer residents and tourists to return and sweep them back into the lake.

I found a tree. A wee pine tree. I would assume that either this summer or next someone will find it to be too intrusive and it will get plucked out of the ground.

It won't be forgotten though, as I have gone and caught it with my lens. To see other drives I have gone on click the 'New Hampshire' tag below.

xoxo~

Love the canoes and kayaks photo... so colorful, but you still can tell the day is gray... Actually I love those days...

The only color in my neck of the woods today (middle Tennessee) was yellow--forsythia and daffodils. I relish that on cold gray blah days like today.

Beautiful photos Abbie! I love the wind swept road. It really speaks to me.

that driving on the edge, puts me on the edge and makes my tummy go flippy-floppy

Blah is right. Mud is sucking me down, and the snow that's left is that icky brown-grey color that's so sad I just want to get out the hose and wash it away. On a high note, my newly planted veggie seeds have already started to sprout (let's hope the ground thaws before it's time to transplant!)

Weekend's supposed to hit 80 degrees! Woohoo! Hope springs eternal. And spring springs!

Love the image through your windshield...it takes me back aways...the ledges are always so eerie in the fog.

New to your site, love the canoe image! Something about the colors and the light gives it a vintage 70s polaroid feel, very cool.
