Hushabye Mountain
Friday, January 8, 2010 at 12:53PM A gentle breeze from Hushabye Mountain
Softly blows over lullaby bay.
It fills the sails of boats that are waiting;
Waiting to sail your worries away.
It isn't far to Hushabye Mountain
And your boat waits down by the key.
The winds of night so softly are sighing

Soon they will fly your troubles to sea.
So close your eyes on Hushabye Mountain.
Wave good-bye to cares of the day.
And watch your boat from Hushabye Mountain
Sail far away from lullaby bay.

I don't remember that song from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, which is why I need to watch it again. I do find myself singing
something about Truly Scrumptious. Hope everyone is feeling much better...
I remember that movie from my teenage years. Ouch! I'm old :D I LOVE your new blog banner. Most excellent.
As I was reading the words to your poem/post, I thought...that sounds familiar...of course! Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I bought a copy of this to have at home for my nieces and nephews. When I brought it out I wasn't sure how long it would last. They are a family of new cartoons and videos and probably own everything that has come out. WELL! They loved it and it only proved that this is a timeless classic. Thank goodness....I thought maybe it would bore them. Thanks for your gorgeous blog.
