Domestic in the Kitchen and too much TV...

I have been spending quite abit of time in front of the TV lately. It is actually nice. I don't think I have watched this much HGTV and FoodNetwork for years. (My two favorite channels) It is nice to have the time to take it easy and the excuse to sit in front of the boob tube. (kinda funny.. if I was breastfeeding the new babe then it really would be a 'boob' tube!) hehehe...
I have decided to try some of the fantastic looking dishes that are on Quick Fix Meals With Robin Miller. She just has this fabulous way of using healthy, fresh ingredients and making several nights meals out of one main dish from the weekend. I just don't see myself having much time in the kitchen to slave and cook for a while, but I do have a family of FIVE to cook for now! (although Baby A will be on a bottle for a while) ;) Z (8 yrs) and T (2 yrs) just are eating so much more than they ever have and C likes to have leftovers for lunch at work. So many mouths to feed!
Another of my favorite shows is Everyday Italian with Giada Delaurentiis. I spent three years living in Italy as a girl and have been back several times since. Authenitc Italian Cuisine just has a very large comfort spot in my heart.

I'm bookmarking those two cooking sites. I used to be into cooking but no more. I do want for my husband ans I to have good food though, so that means cooking. I also like recipezarr.com

Although it's just me and my son (who eats for three) I love to cook and It's cheaper. Interesting that your spent some time in Italy, have you blogged about your experience? I'm sure it would be neat to read about.
